Preview: Baker on visit of Royston Town

Joint manager Neil Baker looks ahead to the visit of Royston tomorrow (Saturday), the final match of the Evo-Stik South Premier season.

27/04/18

We finish the league campaign tomorrow with a home match against Tuesday's opponents Royston, who will be looking for quick revenge after their defeat.

This will be our 61st competitive game this season, and the lads have to be given huge credit for their fitness levels.

We would hope that we can get a good crowd into Arbour Park and that everyone really gets behind the lads, with lots of singing before and during the game.

We enter this game in really good shape, after Ben Harris and Simon Dunn both made it through unscathed on Tuesday night. Warren Harris got a dead leg but would be fit if needed, however we have decided he will be rested with Wednesday in mind.

Guy Hollis returns after missing the game at Royston due to work in Madrid, whilst Floody is also fit to return.

Harrison Gilkes will get 90 minutes with Godalming Town, as for him it is just important to get as many games as possible as he continues his return to 100 per cent fitness, so that he can come back flying in pre-season.

We will continue rotating to keep people fresh ahead of the play-offs, and will make a number of changes from Tuesday. We will pick from a 17-man squad:

Jack Turner, Sean Fraser, Nathan Smart, Guy Hollis, Matt Day, Mark Nisbet, George Wells, Josh Jackman, Matthew Lench, James Dobson, Simon Dunn, Lee Togwell, Scott Davies, Chris Flood, Manny Williams, Perry Coles and Ben Harris.
