Joint manager Neil Baker spoke with John Porter after his side won 4-1 at St Ives.
Slough needed to come from behind again after Peter Clark gave the hosts the lead against the run of play after dominance from the Rebels.
But Slough recovered quickly and went into the half time break with a lead, thanks to a Simon Dunn penalty and a super strike from Warren Harris. Ben Harris added a third on 50 minutes and Manny Williams wrapped up a comfortable win deep into stoppage time.
Neil also looks forward to a difficult match at Basingstoke on Saturday.
