Underwood reflects on draw at Bishop's Stortford

Written by Slough Town Football Club

Slough twice came back from a goal down to equalise at Bishop's Stortford.

I'm not going to go overboard on praise because we've come back twice - I'm more concerned with the fact that we went behind twice

Jon Underwood

Jon Underwood spoke with John Porter following today's 2-2 draw at Bishop's Stortford.

The Rebels come away from a snowy Woodside Park with a point having twice come from behind.

After a goalless first half, Alfie Mason fired the hosts into the lead, but substitute Ben Harris levelled on his return to the side following injury.

Darren Foxley put Bishop’s Stortford ahead with eight minutes left but another sub, Perry Coles, equalised with two minutes to go.

The result leaves Slough in fifth place ahead of Tuesday evening’s match at St Ives.
