Could you, or someone you know run and develop our teams?

Slough Town FC and Slough Town Juniors FC are looking to expand their current provision and are seeking suitably qualified people who are interested in developing and running teams on a voluntary basis.

In particular we are looking for someone to help with the PALS Disability teams which compete in the BOBi League (with monthly tournaments) and to develop and manage an Under 16s team from next season. As well as coaches, we are keen to recruit a volunteer who could help with transport/escort and just be an extra pair of hands on the day.

We are also looking specifically for someone to develop and run one or more Girls teams - this could be in any age range, but preferably at the younger end as we have an established Girls coaching session running for 7-11 year olds and would most likely play in the Berkshire County Girls League. Following on from that we may be looking to start a Ladies Team.

The Junior Club is also looking to expand and would be particularly interested in starting mini soccer teams.

In all of this we are seeking to expand the provision to the local area and not simply take teams from elsewhere. We would be looking to work with coaches over the spring and summer in preparation for the 2018/19 season.

As a team manager, you will be provided with ongoing training and support, have access to excellent training facilities and the support of management committees.

If you are interested and share our passion for bringing inclusive football to the town, please contact Kay Lathey via email ( providing details of your experience, qualifications and availability in the first instance.
