Darren Wheeler is one of a number of former players signed on to feature against Hayes & Yeading.

On Tuesday we make the short trip to Hayes & Yeading in the League Cup and given our clear priority is the League, FA Cup and thirdly the FA Trophy, this is to be honest a game we could do without, and cannot afford to prioritise; however it is one we intend to fulfil.

On the injury list currently we have Alan Inns, Brad Wadkins, Manny Williams, Gavin James and Harrison Gilkes while Warren Harris will not be risked with a tight hamstring and we also cannot afford to play Chris Flood who is currently our only fit striker.

We are extremely grateful to four players who have agreed to sign on to help us out for this game - Tom Williams, Tom Biss, Darren Wheeler and Dan Read - all of whom have been involved with the club previously. This will allow us to protect a number of players, while for some who haven't played quite so much recently it will provide a useful fitness exercise.

Our 16-man squad for the match is as follows: Jack Turner, Josh Jackman, Tom Williams, Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, George Wells, Lee Togwell, Sean Fraser, Nathan Webb, Simon Dunn, James Dobson, Tom Biss, Darren Wheeler, Matt Lench, Nathan Smart, Dan Read.

** Please note that unfortunately the bar at Hayes & Yeading's SKYex Community Stadium will not be open for tonight's match.
