Looking Ahead: Merthyr Town

Written by Neil Baker

Slough will travel to Merthyr with a strong squad tomorrow.

We make our long trip to Merthyr on Tuesday night in pretty good shape against what will be an extremely tough evening.

Merthyr, despite their defeat at the weekend are one of the best footballing sides in the league, so we will have to be at the top of our game to come away with anything from the game.

In terms of squad news, Sean Fraser returns to the squad after missing Saturday's game due to a wedding. Simon Dunn is not quite fit, however is expected to train fully on Thursday and come back into the squad for Saturday.

We have no issues with players getting out of work early, with a number having taken a half day holiday from work to make sure we get there in reasonable time, traffic dependent.

We will therefore travel to Merthyr with a 17 man squad to choose from:

Jack Turner, Josh Jackman, Nathan Smart, Guy Hollis, Alan Inns, Mark Nisbet, George Wells, Sean Fraser, Matthew Lench, Lee Togwell, Nathan Webb, Warren Harris, James Dobson, Manny Williams, Chris Flood, Gavin James and Brad Wadkins.
