Looking Ahead: Poole Town

Written by Jon Underwood

Harrison Gilkes returns to the matchday squad for the first time in 13 months.

After the excellent performance at Redditch on Tuesday we look forward to the welcome distraction of the FA Cup tomorrow and the visit of Poole Town to Arbour Park for what should be a cracking game.

Poole had a tremendous first season in the Conference South but have had a tougher start this time around. We are well aware of the quality they possess but will go in to the game with a huge amount of belief and a determination to continue our cup run.

On the injury front Simon Dunn's hamstring is not as bad as it might have been and we are hopeful he will return in the next couple of weeks.

We are without Warren Harris who is away this weekend but both Alan Inns and Brad Wadkins trained last night and will be included in a 17-man squad.

Also included is Harrison Gilkes, who joins our matchday squad for the first time after 13 months out injured. Gilkesy has worked really hard to get himself fit, has trained well in recent weeks and we are delighted to be able to involve him.

Squad: Jack Turner, Josh Jackman, George Wells, Mark Nisbet, Alan Inns, Guy Hollis, Nathan Smart, Sean Fraser, Lee Togwell, Nathan Webb, Matt Lench, James Dobson, Harrison Gilkes, Manny Williams, Chris Flood, Gavin James, Brad Wadkins.
