Looking Ahead: Uxbridge

Written by Jon Underwood

Slough travel to Uxbridge tomorrow for their first pre-season match away from Arbour Park.

After four friendlies at Arbour Park we look forward to making the short trip to Uxbridge tomorrow (Tuesday).

We chose this fixture as it's a straightforward trip for a midweek game, the pitch is always good and we know Tony Choules will always put out a competitive side so it's an ideal match for us at this stage.

In terms of team news we are missing Lee Togwell, James Dobson and Matt Lench who are all away. Alan Inns has improved well since picking up and injury in the first friendly but this game is likely to come too soon and we will take a look at him in training on Thursday before deciding if he can join the squad for the West Brom game.

We welcome back several players who missed the Met Police game, including Guy Hollis who will make his first appearance of pre-season, and the squad will be made up of the following 14 players.

Jack Turner, Nathan Smart, Josh Jackman, George Wells, Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, Sean Fraser, Nathan Webb, Simon Dunn, Warren Harris, Manny Williams, Brad Wadkins, Chris Flood, Gavin James.
