Slough Town PALS provided four players for the BOBi League representative team, who defeated a team from Berkshire College at Reading's Madejski Stadium.
Midfielders Paul Wade (who also captained the side) and Raheem Choudhury were both on the score sheet, whilst David Meredith played in central defence and Shawn Harding as a striker.
This was a fantastic experience for our players as many footballers don't get the opportunity to play at such a venue, and they thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Such occasions help increase the standing of Slough Town PALS and forge links with other community trust organisations, especially Reading FC, who have funds and facilities available to support our set up.
Training for the new season starts in July.
