Looking Ahead: Basingstoke Town

Written by Neil Baker

News Item image

Lewis Putman comes back into contention following his loan spell at Hayes & Yeading.

Tomorrow we welcome full-time Basingstoke Town to Arbour Park for the first time.

Basingstoke are in good form with 5 wins from their last 8 league games, and train daily on the 3G pitch at Alton Town, so playing on the Arbour Park surface will hold no concerns for them.

In terms of squad news we will be without Lee Togwell who is suspended after his red card at Cinderford.

Guy Hollis will miss his last game due to his work trip to Singapore, Gav James is still recovering from his hamstring injury, and Lewis Putman is a slight doubt after returning from Hayes & Yeading with a knee injury.

We welcome Callum Bunting to the squad following his recent move from Beaconsfield, and will pick from the following 17 players:

Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Paul Stonehouse, Nathan Smart, Josh Jackman, Jesse Wilson, Mark Nisbet, Warren Harris, James Dobson, Lewis Putman, Gurkan Gokmen, Simon Dunn, Nathan Webb, Manny Williams, Chris Flood, Callum Bunting and Romone Rose.
