Looking Ahead: Merthyr Town

Written by Jon Underwood

Two of the top five meet at Arbour Park tomorrow with Merthyr the visitors.

We look forward to what should be a cracking game at Arbour Park tomorrow as we take on second-placed Merthyr Town.

Both sides are in good form and we have had some great games with them already this season and no doubt this one will be very close too.

The squad is in good shape with Nathan Smart returning after his one-match ban and no injuries to report. We will only be without Jesse Wilson who is away this weekend.

Ashan Holgate will not be featuring for the time being but will remain signed on a Southern League form. Living in Swindon and with some transport issues, he has not been able to commit to training and we have not been able to get him where we wanted in terms of fitness.

We are working to bring in another striker and following an official approach last week we are hopeful of announcing more on this next week.

Squad: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Paul Stonehouse, Nathan Smart, Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, Josh Jackman, Lee Togwell, Simon Dunn, Nathan Webb, Warren Harris, James Dobson, Manny Williams, Chris Flood, Gavin James, Gurkan Gokmen.
