Looking Ahead: Cambridge City

Jon Underwood provides an update as Slough turn their attention to a trip to Cambridge City.

10/02/17

After two important wins at home in the past week we are back on the road tomorrow with a trip to St Ives to take on a Cambridge City side who are battling to get out of trouble.

Their form has improved since bringing in manager Robbie Nightingale in December who has made some good signings, particularly up front where they now have a real threat. In their last two home games they have beaten Chesham and Weymouth so there is no chance of us taking the game lightly and having played at this ground a month ago we know exactly what to expect in terms of the conditions and we will certainly need to be up for the battle.

In terms of the squad we will travel with 15 players as we lose Nathan Smart for this game due to a one match suspension for his incredibly harsh sending off last weekend. A real shame for us and him as he has been in excellent form but we are able to welcome back Guy Hollis in to the side.

We hope to see a good travelling support tomorrow to get behind the lads as we look to continue our good form and keep the pressure on those sides above us.

Squad: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Paul Stonehouse, Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, Jesse Wilson, Lee Togwell, Simon Dunn, Nathan Webb, Warren Harris, James Dobson, Manny Williams, Chris Flood, Gavin James, Ashan Holgate.
