Looking Ahead: Dunstable Town

Slough Town welcome Dunstable Town to Arbour Park after a mixed week.

03/02/17

We welcome Dunstable Town tomorrow after a very strange week. We had the high of the victory at Leamington, followed by the low of being five down at Kings Lynn, and despite a recovery second half it was never going to be enough.

We trained well on Thursday night with the lads in good spirits. The general consensus amongst most was that we had been let down by a couple of key decisions in the first 10 minutes, and had inexplicably fallen apart for the rest of that half; however we did show good character in the second half, and will go into this game in a positive frame of mind.

Dunstable started the season off in fantastic form, but like ourselves have had a dip; however a 1-0 home win against Redditch on Saturday will have put them back on target, and we know we will need to be at our best to get anything from the game. We will welcome Brad Hewitt back to Arbour Park, having recently signed for them.

In terms of squad news we are still without Guy Hollis who will sit out the last game of his suspension, whilst James Dobson, who missed Tuesday due to illness will come back into the squad.

The squad will therefore be the same 16 that were due to travel to Kings Lynn.

Squad: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Paul Stonehouse, Mark Nisbet, Nathan Smart, Dan Hicks, Warren Harris, James Dobson, Manny Williams, Simon Dunn, Lee Togwell, Nathan Webb, Charlie Moone, Chris Flood, Gavin James and Ashan Holgate.
