Further information: The Berks & Bucks FA (BBFA) have targeted Slough as an area for development for Season 2016/17. In October, BBFA hosted their second Project 500 event at Wexham School. Project 500 aims to boost the number of female coaches across the two counties. The event delivered key themes around developing practical knowledge, where to find grants to fund coaching courses and the empowerment to develop the ladies as coaches.

November saw BBFA return to Wexham School to deliver a Female Football Forum. The forum was an opportunity for all parties involved in the female game to discuss their experiences in female football and offer their valuable opinions on how the game could be developed in the future.

2017 is an exciting year for the area. BBFA will be delivering a number of Girls Football Festivals (both Primary and Secondary) in the lead up to The FA Girls Football Festival which is due to be hosted at Arbour Park Community Stadium, the home of Slough Town Football Club.

The FA Skills Team will also be moving into the area after February half term and will be delivering school, charter standard sessions and girls only sessions, the first of which sees the formation of a new girls-only session in partnership with Slough Town.
