Looking Ahead: Chippenham Town

Two of the top five meet at Arbour Park tomorrow as Slough welcome visitors Chippenham.

20/01/17

Tomorrow we set our attention back to the league and an important game against title chasing Chippenham.

Having played against them recently where I think we were lucky to pick up a point, we know we will have to be at our very best to take points from a very good side, who I also believe have one of the best strike forces in the league.

With a number of games expected to fall foul of the cold weather tomorrow, having the 3G means that we can prepare safe in the knowledge that the game should be on.

In terms of team news we will still be without Warren Harris, although he was back running last night and hopefully will not be too far away; also Simon Dunn did not train on Thursday due to a tight hamstring, however we expect him to be fine.

We will be able to add James Granger to the squad after his paperwork did not go through in time for Tuesday’s game at Maidenhead.

Paul Stonehouse will also be available after missing the game midweek.

Gurkan Gokmen and Dan Hicks will both play for Burnham (subject to weather) however if their game is off as expected then Dan will join the squad.

Squad from: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Nathan Smart, Paul Stonehouse, Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, Dan Hicks, Lewis Putman, James Dobson, Simon Dunn, Nathan Webb, Lee Togwell, James Granger, Charlie Moone, Chris Flood and Gavin James.
