The #NonLeagueChallenge is the chance to earn Slough Town Football Club a £10,000 prize and a match against a Premier League Legends side organised by Marathonbet, in return for coming up with an original and inspired goal celebration.
Last year, National League South side Wealdstone won the first ever #NonLeagueChallenge and took the cash prize, along with the gate receipts from a hugely-anticipated and publicised match against a Premier League Legends side organised by Marathonbet, featuring the likes of Teddy Sheringham, Dion Dublin, Nigel Winterburn and Darren Anderton.
To get involved, all you have to do is upload the goal celebration to the NonLeagueChallenge website. Full details and terms & conditions can also be found on the website.
This year’s competition will launch with a social media competition on Twitter, in which Rebels supporters can help win the club, as well as themselves, a cash prize. There is a £2,000 prize up for grabs for the club. To take part, simply follow @NonLgeChallenge and re-tweet the tweet which will be pinned to the top of the club’s feed at 09:00 on Monday morning. The club with the most re-tweets between 7th November and 14th November will win the £2,000 prize.
There is an added incentive for Rebels supporters to re-tweet as one random supporter who re-tweets the club’s tweet will win a £1,000 prize. In addition, there is £500 worth of camera equipment to be won.
